Job Description
- Well versed with Rail and Road transportation(vehicle placement).
- Coordinating with WH for the vehicle requirement and placing the vehicles on time.
- Checking the consolidated vehicle placement Report on daily basis.
- Go getter attitude in accepting the challenges in developing new lanes for transportation
- Preperation of tracking report and update status on everyday for In-transit vehicles.
- Checking of bills and submission in Finance after approval.
- Analyzing the profitability ratio of buy and sell rate against the transactions.
- Cost updation in system for local/ Upcountry transactions.
- Checking the TAT of Fleets for maximum utilization of Dedicated fleets.
- Ability to work under pressure and perform upto the mark.
- Should be focused on minimizing the transportation cost.
- Well versed with Rail and Road transportation including the ICD clearence.
- Knowledge of courier and part load vendor management.
Qualifications
Graduate,MBA/PGDM – Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics etc

- Vendor Management and Development
- Good Communication, Negotiation and Presentation skills.
- Keen interested in Logistics Transportation (FTL and LTL both)
- Willing to Learn and implement new techniques to reduce cost
- Attitude to explore the new things and find vendors for new lanes
- Willing to give commitment and should be flexible to travel whenever required.
